January Favourites!

Hey guys!
So, its February already! Last month FLEW by, and as it is the start of a new month, i guess its time to do a favourites post! So theses are some of the things that I have been LOVING over the past month!

I know these photos are awful, generally because i couldn't get the hanger to hang straight and all of that malarkey but i absolutely love this jumper. It is just a plain, blue, cropped jumper with a zip down the back. It is from hollister and I got it in the sale so it was around £28. It goes with basically everything and it is so so comfy to wear, I basically live in it!

My second favourite of the month are these yellow/mustard suede nike blazers. I also bought these shoes in the sale, so they were around £40, reduced from £60. When you first look at them they are a bit of an odd colour, but they look great on as they just add a bit of colour to your outfit, as well as being super comfy!

This is a bit of an odd favourite, but I love these make up wipes so much. They remove all makeup, including eye make up. They are really kind on my skin and they also smell soooo good as they are rose scented!

This is one of  my two favourite scents of the month. I am not a big one direction fan, but oh my, their perfume is to die for, it smells so good!

This is my other scent of the month! I love hollister sprays as they all smell so fruity and summer/spring like. I also love my other hollister spray, Solana Beach, but unfortunately that has nearly run out!

My final beauty product of the month is the Rimmel London BB cream. I recieved this as a stocking gift at christmas and I really love it because it just evens out my skin tone, I don't need a full coverage foundation of such as I have really good skin and don't have any spots. It also feels very light and I don't feel as if I have anything on.

Technology Favourites

My favourite song of last month has to be Riptide by Vance Joy. I discovered it at the beginning of the month before it came into the UK charts and I think its just a really nice, folk like song.

My most listened to album of the last month is Lungs by Florence and the Machine. I have loved this album from when it came out - which was quite a few years ago! I hadn't listened to it for ages and then I re-downloaded some of the songs onto my phone and I just feel that they are very catchy!

My final favourite is the app that everyone has been talking about - Flappy Bird! It is so addictive and I am constantly trying to beat my high score! I haven't smashed my phone yet in frustration, and as a matter of fact I don't find it annoying anymore! What is your high score? Mine is 62!

So there are all my favourites of January! If you want to see more favourites of each month, please comment down below!

New year, New Me.

Hello there everyone!
Merry Christmas and a happy new year to you all!
So its 2014 already, how time has flown by! I feel i want 2014 to be the year that I change for the better. Nothing really exciting happened in 2013, and to be fair, I had no motivation to do anything! I know people say that i'm young, and i should make the most of being 13 but I just felt I had no reason to do anything. I had no projects to work towards, plus for most of the year I didn't even have a hobby. Just before the summer holidays, around the end of July, me and a friend took up tennis, however, the tennis club did not run throughout the summer holidays and us going away at different times, we never really got to practise. So of course, tennis started again in September, and it went on all the way through to December - outdoors! Around November time, I got really sick of going there. It was on a Tuesday after school and because of the sun going down so early, it was pitch black, as well as gails, rains and winds blowing down, i honestly dreaded going!

I've always know sport wasn't for me, and i feel that this experience has just made it clear, however, I have now quit tennis, and I am taking up badminton, I know you think it'll just be the same, but all my family play badminton - mum, dad and sister, and my  mum is also a level one coach in it, so hopefully she can teach us how to play, and also the hours and days are more flexible, therefore it should be more fun.

Anyway, i'm going to stop babbling on and i'm going to get down with my new year resolutions:
  • GET FITTER!!! I really lack in exercise and with my new Miranda Hart's Maracattack DVD, I should be more motivated as she is 'what i call' my favourite comedian!
  • Eat more healthy & don't snack!! All I tend to eat in between meals is chcocolate and junk food so I KNOW that is not good!
  • Read more! Recently I have been lacking when it comes to reading, but I have bought the John Green box set. I have read 'looking for alaska' and I am currently reading 'the fault in our stars'.
  • Write more blog posts! I'm really bad and get stuck for ideas so it would be great if you guys could comment some for me!
They are all the resolutions that I have for this year, but if I complete some of them within the year, I would no doubt replace them with some others that have been hovering about!

Apologies for this being such a long blog post without many pictures but I just thought I needed to one about the new year, and I didn't feel many pictures would fit!

Cosy in Winter

Hello!
So as winter approaches (or already has approached) once again, I like to get into a festive spirit and bring a warm cosy feel to my bedroom, it just makes me feel happy and warm, so here are a few tips to bring a nice atmosphere to yours too!

CANDLES!
Candles are a great way of bringing seasonal scents into your room.
Although Yankee Candle ones can be expensive, I really feel its worth it as they have such a variety of smells and I also love the packaging.

FAIRY LIGHTS
Recently I bought some cute lights of amazon for a really good price,I have put them all over one of my walls and I have them on a twinkling setting, it really makes me feel cosy with the main light dimmed down and some candles lit... I love it!

CHRISTMAS SONGS!
Its never to early to get into the spirit with a few songs playing in the background... or turned up at full volume!

HOT CHOCOLATE!
Although the cup in the picture isn't full, i had just finished my favourite galaxy hot chocolate with whipped cream, marshmallows and chocolate dusting.
SIMPLY THE BEST!

PILLOWS!
To make my bed 10x more cosy, i fill it with pillows, throws and stuffed toys to make it like heaven when you jump into it... but sadly like hell when you jump out!

BOOKS!
I recently pre-ordered the John Green box set after hearing great reviews about many of the books. On Amazon I got all 5 books for £15.84, which is amazing. it came with;
The Fault in our Stars,
Looking for Alaska,
Will Grayson, Will Grayson,
An Abundance of Katherines,
Paper Towns.

Sadly the price of the box set has gone up to £24.77, still a great deal considering they're meant to be around £40.

I know this has been a rather long post, but thank you for reading through and I hope it helped!
